As predicted by so many, price cuts are happening for the various Nvidia GTX 980 and 980 ti cards in response to the AMD R9 Fury and Fury X launch. The GTX 980 $549 down from $499 and the GTX 980ti is $629 down from $649. It might be small but it’s still a win and a direct result of decent competition happening in the GPU market. Now let’s see if AMD can have the same impact in the CPU market when Zen is finally launched.
